Finca Escobar Jerez.

Set in more than 20 hectares of stunning countryside, that is part of the Sierra de San Pedro Special Protection Zone for birds, are 3 beautiful country cottages.

The cottages were originally built in the mid 18th century and have been lovingly restored in 2011, to provide luxury accommodation in the heart of the Extremenian countryside.

The finca is made up of a large tract of cork oaks that are more than 100 years old, along with some olives, fertile irrigated land and orchards.

The Finca is situated between Valencia de Alcántara and San Vicente de Alcántara, close to the Portuguese border, where history has left its fingerprint: Megalithic dolmens, Roman ruins, Visigothic traces, synagogues, military orders (crusading knights), medieval castles and walled towns. It is also just over an hour away from the UNESCO world heritage sites of Cáceres, Mérida and Évora.

Guests can also enjoy the picturesque Portuguese villages of Marvao and Castelo de Vide, as well as natural swimming pools, such as the river Sever in Portagem or the river Gevor in La Codosera.
